Financial Infomation

Receiving a prosthesis or orthosis requires a significant amount of paperwork that may be overwhelming. Our experienced staff will guide you through this complex process; they are familiar with insurance requirements and able to assist with obtaining funding from Medicare, private insurance, and third party payer sources.

The process begins with a referral from your physician. However, you are welcome to contact us at any time to discuss your options and questions. There is no charge for consultations.

Our prosthetic patients are encouraged to schedule an initial consultation to discuss the prosthetic options and the process of receiving your prosthesis.

You will have lots of questions. Every question is important, even ones that you may worry are insignificant.

  • Make a list of your questions and bring it to your consultation.
  • Develop a personal list of goals you would like to attain. Knowing where you want to go is the first step in getting there.
  • If you have an existing prosthetis or orthosis, make note of any current issues you would like to discuss. Note any discomfort or problems you may be experiencing.

Contact our office (713) 795-8909 to schedule your appointment.

At your first visit you should bring:

  • Insurance Card
  • Photo ID
  • Your Prescription
  • Any additional information from your doctor, therepist, healthcare provider, or other referral source

This information will allow our administrative staff to start the process of getting approval from your funding source.
