The Vocational Rehabilitation Program of the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) helps people who have physical or mental disabilities prepare for, find or keep employment.

The Vocational Rehabilitation Program serves people with a wide variety of conditions, including impaired functioning of arms or legs and other physical or mental conditions that prevent a person from finding or keeping a job.

Services are provided based on individual needs. Assistive devices such as artificial limbs and braces are included in the services that DARS can provide.
